March 2020 — Lewis & Keller is proud to welcome Shannon Warf Wilson as the head of their Workers’ Compensation Department. For over two decades, Shannon has successfully tried countless cases before the North Carolina Industrial Commission and in North Carolina State Courts.
Shannon is highly accomplished in workers’ compensation matters and is a successful litigator with many years of experience.
A Remarkable Career
Shannon has led a remarkable career as a workers’ comp attorney. She is board-certified as a Workers’ Compensation Specialist and is a certified Superior Court mediator. She holds a license to practice not just in North Carolina State Courts but also in the U.S. District Court, Middle District of North Carolina.
She began her studies as a graduate of Davidson County Community College and then moved on to Greensboro College, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in 1989. Shannon received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Campbell University School of Law in 1992.
Throughout her career, Shannon has fought vigorously for the rights of injured workers. She has presented to widely varied audiences regarding North Carolina workers’ compensation laws and many of her cases have been published. She is a respected figure in the legal community and will add tremendous value to the team at Lewis & Keller.

In addition to her exceptional work in the field of workers’ compensation law and litigation, Shannon is also a proud mother and an active participant in Mount Tabor United Methodist Church.
A devoted mother and member of her Winston-Salem community, Shannon applies her family and community focus to her career as a workers’ compensation lawyer.
