That’s why our champions are here for you to help you seek the benefits you deserve while you recover. Read the following transcript to learn what to expect when working with her.

Speaker 1:
How does that work?

Attorney Shannon Warf Wilson:
We do not charge a consultation fee, and that’s another question that I get a lot, how much do we cost. We get paid when you get paid. Everybody’s heard that. And what that means is it’s a contingency fee. It’s set by statute. It’s 25% of the recovery. You may call in with a question about your workers’ comp claim, and we may say you don’t need us yet. You may not ever need us, but if you do, at least we’ve made that initial contact so you feel comfortable that if an issue arises, you can come back and we’re familiar with your claim.

But if it’s a claim and they are paying your bills and you’re not missing time from work and you’re basically going to the doctor and then you’re okay, you may very well not need to retain an attorney. Those are few and far between in my opinion. At least usually the folks that are calling are calling because they’ve already got an issue that needs to be addressed.

Speaker 1:
Right, and you’re quick that if you do feel like the employer’s insurance company is doing everything right, you’ll let the client know that.

Attorney Shannon Warf Wilson:
Absolutely. Yeah.
